About the Studio:

Stone for carving may be purchased on site. Setup for pneumatic
and electric tools.
Art supply stores nearby, fully stocked with a wide array of paints,
brushes, canvases, stretches and paper.

Sharon Gainsburg
Award-winning stone carver and teacher of the direct stone carving method
for 22 years. She has spent time in Pietrasanta, Italy carving stone,
exhibited widely throughout the USA and has many works in corporate collections.
She also conducts workshops in "creative unblocking" in her
sculpture studio.
Martin Distancia Barragan
Award-winning sculptor, stone carver and bronze worker. Taught plastic
arts and ceramics. Received a teacher award. Supervisor in residence.
