I am a career Army Officer 
and I have spent a lifetime focused only on that aspect of my life.
Not in my wildest imagination did I ever believe that, 'I' had the capacity to create something from a faceless piece of stone. That is, until I found Sharon.
Acting on the advice of my surgeon, after spinal surgery,
I went looking for something to occupy time, and help me recover.
I found Sharon, and thought, 'I'll try this.'
On the first day, Sharon encouraged me to explore, to let go and see what would happen. She skillfully guided me through the sculpting process, the use of tools, basic carving techniques and within a short time, I created my first sculpture. She was graciously there from inception to finished piece,
just as she is with every student in the class.
Never exasperated, always positive and uplifting,
Sharon teaches that there is an artist in each of us. She methodically opens your heart and head to this fact, and your life will never be the same because of it.

In retrospect, this has been one of the most positive experiences of my life. I cannot adequately express to you, how important this journey has been. It will be the same for each of you. You have the opportunity to engage one to one, with an accomplished artist, and skillful, loving teacher, who will make it her personal mission to help you discover something powerful about yourself.
